I've been a bit slow to get these out, but life, uh, finds a way.
A week ago Tuesday (how the hell is that 10 days ago) I spent the entire day in Brussels, which I really needed. The predicted rain held off until just as I left the hotel for dinner, so I actually got a pretty good amount of exploring in.
In my initial wanderings, I passed through the Rue de Rollebeek, where I eventually had lunch:

Eventually I found my way to the Musée Magritte which was surreal:

Just down the street is l'Église Notre-Dame des Victoires au Sablon, built in the 15th century:

After lunch I of course had dessert:

That's actually a Liège waffle with a chocolate Manneken Pis as a lagniappe. I didn't eat the pissing boy because the waffle was quite enough. I didn't even take a photo of the fountain, but that's where the waffle shop was. And 2 € was a good price to pay for such a delicious waffle, let me add.
I also visited the Old Masters museum and had dinner at Bab Dar, a Moroccan place just a couple blocks from my hotel. Despite all my wanderings, I only got 15,157 steps and climbed the equivalent of 21 flights of stairs. I mention this because on the 7th I got 26,168 steps and climbed the equivalent of 92 flights, neither of which is anywhere near a PR but both of which led to really big weeks in both categories (124,076 steps and 238 floors, Monday through Sunday).
Looking at my photos, it seems I spent more time enjoying Brussels than photographing it.
