Don't call him stupid

The most powerful person in the world fled from an interview last week clutching his tiny little pearls because a reporter asked him for evidence to support his bullshit. Perhaps there was a certain je ne sais quoi about the interviewer that rattled his insecurities? Some theories:

• Glenn Kessler catalogs the many times that the OAFPOTUS was afraid of women who asked him questions.
• The questions that set him off? "Where's the evidence for your [bullshit] claims of voter fraud in California?"
• Adam Kinzinger's take: "The rumble strips are gone."
• If there is any election fraud going on, it would be coming from Republican judges putting their fingers on the scales. (Notice how Republican gerrymandering is OK but Democratic responses are not?)
• Oh, also, there's this little matter of his PhD-level stupidity dealing with Iran that we will be dealing with for the next 50 years.

And yesterday, the OAFPOTUS disruped the lives of 600,000 New Yorkers because he wanted to attend a basketball game that he napped through anyway, after getting booed and saluting like an ape. (The president diplomatically outranks every military member on earth, which is why he should never salute anyone. Much longer conversation.)

I am reminded of the line "to call you stupid would be an insult to stupid people:"

It's been pointed out by "some people" that what angered Trump the most was not the line of questioning, nor that it came from a woman, but that it came from a *Black* woman. This would be thoroughly on brand for him, the misogynistic, racist piece of shit. Or is that an insult to pieces of shit?

This is why I am always smacking my forehead. I didn't even clock that Kristen Welker is black. It just never entered my head.
